Rachael Farinella (She/Her/They)

One day someone asked me what I could talk about all day every day. If it wasn’t going to be the impact of mac and cheese on my day to day life, it always points back to meditation, mindfulness, music, and doing things a little differently. Hi! I’m Rachael.

I’m here because I’m following life’s purpose: to help people see themselves and the world from different perspectives, which opens the door for meaningful change, and then being their biggest cheerleader in that pursuit. You will never find a greater hype woman.

I’m trained and certified as a meditation teacher, sound healer, and life coach. It was important to me to learn how to do this work in safe, informed ways, and I’m fortunate to have engaged mentors and an unquenchable curiosity. That curiosity makes me a rock star in guiding others who want to learn more about themselves and how to translate that knowledge in to more joyful and intentional living.

This is an ABOUT ME section though, so let me take you through the important notes: I’m queer, and that’s one of my favorite things about myself. I’m married to my beautiful wife Jackie (whom I’ve crowned “The First Lady of Sound Baths”). We live in Andersonville with our two pups. You’re likely to find us at Hollywood Beach, Pizza Lobo, or The Chicago Magic Lounge.

I’m a gifted musician, starting from a very young age. When I’m not bringing people to a zen space, I’m on the opposite end creating a lot of noise as the drummer in Chicago band Impulsive Hearts.

My favorite part of this job is meeting people on their own healing journey- they’re hitting the gym, or going to therapy, meditating, working towards nourishing their bodies, learning to love themselves (or all of the above!). It’s so fulfilling to be part of that journey, by having deep conversations about what they want and where they want to go. Sometimes no one has ever had someone in their corner to cheer them on, and this is what I was made for.

All of my offerings are based in trauma-informed mindfulness education. Safe and accessible mindfulness is at the core of my business, and this is why I was able to start my Good Vibes 4 All Initiative. Putting more peace into the world, especially when groceries are so expensive and it feel like things are burning down is my highest calling.

If there’s anything I want you to take away from all of this, it’s that I’m on this path because of a call to serve others. Whether that’s taking an hour with your babe to vibe together, learning how to be a little more mindful, figuring out how to follow your passion, or even navigating first dates and how to make them second dates, I’m here for it, and I’m just a message away.

To Live and love as hard as you know how
💞 Rach
