Rachael Farinella (She/Her/They)
I’m someone who experiences the world through energy, vibration, rhythm, and tone. Naturally intuitive, deeply aware of the emotional and energetic states of others, I’m drawn to work that lives in the body as much as the mind.
I’m a musician, artist, and writer. Music has been my primary for language as long as I can remember, and it shapes how I create and connect with the world around me. It taught me how sound carries emotion and energy, and as an extension, sound healing taught me how to work with it intentionally.
I specialize in working closely with couples, partners and individuals, where the work can be highly focused, intimate, and held with care. I also offer regular, free community sound baths, and ticketed sliding scale events to keep sound healing and mindfulness accessible.
I’m a lesbian and gender-fluid person, and my identity is one of the things I cherish most about myself. Being gay and free in my gender expression feels like a gift I get to live inside every day. My home is in Andersonville with my two pups and partner. You can catch me any time of day at Loaves & Witches, Eli Tea Bar, or Alice & Friends.
My background includes training with multiple sound healing teachers and mentors (along with formal certifications), and I’m a graduate of the Radiant Holistic Institute.
I hold a certification as a meditation & mindfulness teacher (backed by over 13 years of mindfulness practice), and I am trained in trauma-aware mindfulness.
